The School Banking Initiative is a partnership between the Vale Primary and GIFA aimed at teaching our pupils about money management, banking services and saving habits. The Initiative is designed to equip our pupils with the knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions as they grow older.
The Vale Primary was the first school in Guernsey to set up and run this opportunity with the kind support of GIFA in 2021. We have our own Vale School Shop and Bank, a school currency based on 'Vales' earned through Dojo Points and a dedicated team of student bankers and shopkeepers.
